Neurologist Dr. Manuel Murie Fernández, a professional with Grupo ICOT, recently took part in the 2nd Technical Conference on Acquired Brain Injury, held in Tenerife.
During his presentation, Dr. Murie addressed the relevance of dual-task activities in the treatment of acquired brain injury, highlighting how the ability to perform them declines with age and emphasizing the value of integrating them in a structured way into neurorehabilitation programs.
He also presented the research studies he leads in this field, underscoring the importance of applying evidence-based strategies to optimize functional recovery and improve therapeutic outcomes.
From the Canary Foundation Institute of Neurological Sciences, we acknowledge Dr. Murie’s valuable contribution and his commitment to clinical advancement and specialized knowledge dissemination—key elements in the development of excellence-driven care models.
