The Canary Islands Digital Innovation Hub (CIDIHUB) has welcomed the Canarian Institute of Neurological Sciences Foundation (ICN) as a new member. ICN is a non-profit organization affiliated with the ICOT Group and a leading entity in research, education, and innovation in the field of neuroscience and the application of new technologies to neurological diseases.

With this new membership, CIDIHUB strengthens its commitment to innovation in the healthcare sector, promoting collaboration in applied research projects, the development of new technologies for neurological rehabilitation, and the transfer of knowledge to the health system and society.

Based at Hospital ICOT Ciudad de Telde, the ICN Foundation is a pioneer in the rehabilitation of neurological diseases, particularly brain and spinal cord injuries, and in the application of innovative technologies to improve patients’ quality of life. Its mission combines scientific research with clinical care and specialized training, maintaining national and international partnerships.

Daniel Pérez Marcos, Technical Director of the ICN Foundation, stated: “Being part of CIDIHUB will allow us to connect our areas of work with a multidisciplinary digital ecosystem from which we can mutually benefit. We believe that collaborating with other innovative agents in the Canary Islands is key to accelerating the development and implementation of solutions that improve treatments and clinical care, and ultimately, the lives of people with neurological diseases and their families”.

CIDIHUB highlighted: “The incorporation of the ICN Foundation and the ICOT ecosystem adds a unique value to our network, bringing knowledge and experience in neurological health. With this addition, the Canary Islands Digital Innovation Hub expands its network of collaborators and advances the consolidation of an environment that promotes digital transformation and cooperation in key sectors such as healthcare, energy, mobility, and Industry 4.0.
